摘要

Cloud computing in these days is the top most area of research because of the major concerns as reducing costs, and also scalability and flexibility of in computing services. The performance of cloud environment is depends upon virtual machines and its memory management. This paper surveys the various memory streaming techniques managed by hypervisor to improve the performance, scalability of virtual machines and optimum utilization of resources and ultimately reducing cost. Researchers are doing research to collect the hypervisor memory management techniques like live migration, cloning, page sharing, read cache and many more to do the memory streaming for virtual machines in cloud environment. If all the memory management techniques clubbed together then in both public and private cloud environment one can scale virtual infrastructure rapidly with reducing memory requirement and overhead.
