The problem of responsibilities Assignment RAP for power quality can be defined as the identification of the qualitative and quantitative contribution of each agent connected to an electrical system, regarding a specific regulation or expected condition. This paper uses this definition to introduce a method for assessing causality in power quality under stationary conditions, resorting to an index typically employed in graph theory, the Eigenvector Centrality. Subsequently, the method is illustrated by means of two real systems, allowing a comparison among the results obtained from other existing methods. A discussion regarding the results and its interpretation is presented as well.
