In view of the condition that image is susceptible to the interference by external environment and noise, and measurement accuracy of the existing part size measurement method based on machine vision is not high, the optimization algorithm based on particle weight, and the part size measurement method of machine vision and Halcon image processing technology are put forward. First, it briefly introduces the principle of part size measurement inspection and sorting device based on machine vision. Then, it illustrates preprocessing algorithm, principle of particle weight, standard least square, and then this paper proposes least square optimization algorithm based on the particle weight, and uses the optimization algorithm to measure the parts. Finally, the experimental platform is verified. The experimental results show that in the case that part image is interfered by the outside noise, the measurement algorithm is still characterized by high reliability, high efficiency, high accuracy and the repeated measurement accuracy is ± 0.01mm.
