A Metric for Measuring IoT Devices Security Levels

As the number of IoT devices continues to increase, so does the number of challenges we need to face. Security is a big concern since the number of attacks to IoT devices keeps rising. We show that currently available Security metrics do not correctly apply to IoT devices, and propose an appropriate metric. As a proof-of-concept, we apply our metric to three IoT devices and show that it reacts to the presence of vulnerabilities as well as actual exploits.
