A scientomotrics review on the field of technology management data

Technology management data refers to all the data which is produced in the process of research and has witnessed rapid development in the literature. However, there lacks mapping and visualization of it in global scope. To identify the state and trend of technology management data, the paper uses Citespace to conduct a series of analysis, including the distribution of core authors, journal, countries and institutions, co-reference and keywords, and obtained corresponding relults by cluster techniques. The findings are as follows. First, the number of papers shows a stable slope rate in recent years. Second, the USA, England and China are the 3 top leading countries about the theme in this paper. Third, the 3 top institutions are Georgia State University, Hong Kong Polytechic University and University of Arkansas. Forth, the 3 top leading journal are Management Science, Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Review. Fifth, the top cited anthors are Fornell C, Podsakaoff PM and Eisenhardt KM. Sixth, the result of reference clusters is obvious, and the papers in MIS Quarterly are the most cited in different years.
