Military aircraft is a complex repairable system, reliability evaluation of it in the mission stage is a very complicated problem. A new method of reliability modeling in the mission stage is presented. Firstly, the mission-driven system reliability modeling process is analyzed based on topology and logic relationship of system reliability block diagram. Secondly, the system and components universal generating function and logical operators of different structure are defined, then the system reliability universal generating function is achieved by compound operating with structure operators. Lastly, system reliability under different mission profile are calculated, the results demonstrate that the technique can well meet the engineering practice needs of military aircraft reliability evaluation. In addition, the system reliability sensitivities of individual element performances is analyzed, which has effective significance for preventive maintenance and improving operational reliability of all aircraft equipments.
