Strength analysis of buildings using image processing and SHM principles

摘要

An integrated methodology for detection of cracks and surface degradation evaluation is presented in this paper. Structural health monitoring along with the techniques of image processing are used here for the strength analysis of civil structures. In our system with the use image processing and data acquisition methodologies, methods for crack detection and quantification of surface degradation are proposed. The results found to be suitable for civil inspection in extensive ways.
