摘要

In this letter, a novel structure of a single split-ring resonator (S-SRR) is presented and discussed. Two metallic vias are combined with the S-SRR to improve the performance. A coplanar waveguide (CPW) loaded with the new structures and series gaps, which works as a band pass filter is simulated and fabricated. The proposed band pass filter reaches a high level of compactness, which provides a good choice for designing composite right-left handed (CRLH) transmission lines.
