Smooth transfer between the grid-connected mode and stand-alone mode in a marine shaft generation system

摘要

This paper introduces a new concept of the shaft generation system applied in marine industry where both the grid-connected operation and the stand-alone operation are required. Detailed analysis of implementing these two modes and the smooth transfer between each other are given. Experiments are also carried out to validate the usefulness and practicality of the proposed control structure.
