Validación experimental de un conjunto heurístico para evaluaciones de UX de sitios web de comercio-e

This paper describes a project that aims to validate a set of heuristic guides specifically designed to assess the User Experience (UX) on electronic commerce Web sites. For this we have analysed the heuristic proposed in a previous work, referring both to the drafting of guidelines as to the particular way of scoring mentioned in such work. We have proposed improvements in the way we evaluate the results and, especially, we designed an experiment in which a group of prominent expert evaluators analysed different e-commerce Web sites using such heuristic set, providing meaningful data to validate the improvements proposed in this paper. We achieved improvements over the previous work and new findings concerning the improvement of the way of scoring the results. We also have better knowledge regarding the importance given to usability as a quality attribute in different electronic commerce contexts and also about the element of subjectivity of the evaluator. In short, the proposed way of scoring with the adjustments made over previous work, provides a more realistic interface analysis.
