摘要

Infants' recognition has always been a huge challenge even in today's technology-driven world. Swapping, missing, kidnapping and mixing infants pose an exaggeration to the existing problem. While the advent of biometric tests has solved the problem of adult recognition, the similar thing for infants, could not serve an appropriate solution. The objective of this paper is to emphasize on the possibility of using human ear as an infant recognizing solution. The reason being this part of body attracted several types of research and studies to prove individuality and uniqueness. The major contributions of this paper includes (i) Implementation of seven algorithms on ear database of adult and infant, (ii) Comparison of the result of an algorithm, (iii) Preparation of infant database.
