In hands free speech communication application speech quality is reduced due to room reverberation and back ground noise. Reverberation is multipath reflections from the wall or other objects in the closed room. Such reverberant speech has direct, early, and late components. To improve the performance of speech communication applications these components from the speech has to be reduced or cancelled out. The algorithms that reduce these detrimental effects are called speech dereverberation algorithms. Spatial filtering is one of the speech dereverberation algorithm, which is presented in this paper. By using spatial filtering techniques, we have removed early reverberation, late reverberation with noise.
