Traffic controlling is the key requirement in transportation system. Traffic management requires high skill based automated solutions as an alternative of the manual methods such as human intervention viz. traffic policemen, traffic lights and safety cameras. Due to traffic jamming the commuter fails to reach the destination in time. Analyzing road traffic data takes step towards controlling the traffic conditions on any given road segments. Also existing vehicle does not have the system to alert traffic congestion before we choose travel on the road. We propose an optimized smart device embedded in vehicle. Our system is deployed with traffic sensing and updating the user to choose the shortest path with less traffic congestion to reach the destination. The proposed system smartly indicate the traffic congestion on the path one has to travel.
