摘要

We usually used the Newton iterative method for maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters of Weibull distribution model. But this calculation was very cumbersome. We can easily lead to premature and other problems in the process of particle swarm optimization algorithm. In order to solve this problem, we introduced the ant colony algorithm to estimate the parameters of Weibull distribution model, and put forward the Weibull model parameters determined based on ant colony algorithm. After comparing with the Newton iterative method and the particle swarm optimization algorithm, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method were verified by an examples.
