摘要

Natural organic matter (NOM) removal by a full-scale conventional biofiltration water treatmentrnplant and a pilot-scale direct biofiltration plant were compared. The plants were using water fromrnthe same river and were sampled during the period from February to September 2014. Bothrntrains efficiently removed dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and assimilable organic carbonrn(AOC) either at low or high water temperatures.
