摘要

3D electrodynamic computation of serpentine folded waveguide slow-wave circuit for 5 kilowatt Ka-band TWT was carried out. It is shown that the interaction of EM-waves with the electron beam is more effectively in the cavity band than in the slot band. It is shown also that TWT's of this type are highly competitive with existing analogs on the coupled cavities chains, but their production can be much easier.
