摘要

The purpose of the study is to discover in what context Corporate SocialrnResponsibility principles is being addressed in airlines’ strategy statements such as vision,rnmission, values and “about us” parts. The sample for this study was drawn from the AirlinernTop 100 Ranking of Airline Business Magazine in 2013. Content analysis was used tornexamine the level of commitment to CSR represented in the largest international airlines’rnstrategy statements. The availability of separate CSR sections and CSR reports in the websitesrnof the airlines were also searched. Results show that majority of top 100 airlines are somehowrncommunicating CSR activities through their web-sites. This study is significant as it providesrnan insight by looking at the defined areas at a time about how airlines have embedded CSRrninto their organization and strategies.
