摘要

In this paper, a miniaturized Marchand balun is designed, which is used for the IF signal transformation of the THz focal plane arrays. In order to reduce the size of the THz front-ends, low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is adopted. Based on multilayer spiral coupled transmission lines, the balun owns high coupling coefficient as well as compact structure. The measured results show s and insertion loss are −17.5dB and 3.92dB at 1.5 GHz respectively, which agree with the simulated ones.
