摘要

Renewable energy power has been drew great attention in recent years,but it still couldn’t be the commercialized major substitute energy resource because of the characteristics such as intermittence,instability and uncontrollability,which caused a contradiction to the continuous power demand.The development of various energy storage technologies is introduced in the paper as well as each of their performance in renewable energy power is studied and summarized.As power fluctuation can be smoothed by energy storage technology,the grid’s acceptability to renewable energy may be improved.Besides,the joint operation of various energy storage technologies,which synthesize each advantage,must be the trend of energy storage development and would be widely applied in renewable energy utilization.
