摘要

The Chairman opened the meeting with a short introduction about the mission and the ongoing activities of the Study Committee and WGs;he summarized then the present environmental chal-lenges facing the Power Sector and highlighted the way they are addressed in the frame of CIGRE activities (climate changes,increase the amount of renewables in the system,reliability and effi-ciency of the system).
