摘要

This paper considers the dry-type air-gapped iron-core reactor optimum design problem. The main goal of this work is to obtain optimum iron-core cross-section and winding construction. First, dynamic programming algorithm is studied and used to maximize iron-core effective cross-sectional area under constraints such as core diameter, lamination stage number, the minimum lamination width and some additional constraints etc. Then, circular traversing algorithm is proposed to design winding construction including the determination of the number of parallel wires, wire gauge and arrangement mode, the number of the winding packages and the number of layers in each package under constraints such as power loss and temperature rise. Last, the proposed optimization methodology has been implemented into the software for optimum design of dry-type air-gapped iron-core reactor. The design results obtained with the developed software in this paper are proved to be satisfied.
