The bottleneck node is a problem of multiple-hop relay systems. In order to increase the end-to-end channel capacity, all relay node should be prevented from being the bottleneck. In this paper, the optimizing distance between transceivers and transmit power of each relay is proposed to obtain the upper bound of end-to-end channel capacity. However, in case the distance and the transmit power are fixed, the antenna number of each relay as well as the optimizing trade-off of diversity gain and multiplexing gain is a method to improve the performance of the bottleneck node. The total antenna number of all transceiver is assumed to be fixed. The optimal antenna number of each relay and the optimal antenna number for diversity gain, multiplexing gain is considered to improve the performance of bottle-neck node. Therefore, the throughput of multiple-hop relay system becomes higher.
