摘要

Based on characteristic of observation class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs), the two important factors (pump speed and nozzle Diameter) within a water jet powered ROV requires significant optimization in order to overcome the existing problem. In this paper, the water jet propulsion system model is studied at first, and then pump and nozzle optimization be discussed. At last, the result shows that ROVs can control the thrust of water jet by controlling the nozzle diameter size and pump speed.
