摘要

Based on Multi-Point Forming (MPF) technology, the manufacturing process of cranial titanium plates for the repair of skull defects is studied by combination with computer aided design. Firstly, a 3d triangular mesh model of the skull is reconstructed from CT data set. Then, the skull polygon model is sampled to obtain representative scattered point set. The thin-plate spline interpolation technology is used to reconstruct it to gain surface model of titanium prosthesis, and processing parameter is optimized by orthogonal design and numerical simulation. Finally, the gripper pressed technology is adopted to form the titanium prosthesis. The results show that method can remarkably shorten the production cycle of titanium prosthesis, as well as keeping an improved fitting precision.
