Formalising Workflows Partitioning over Federated Clouds: Multi-level Security and Costs

We present an abstract formalisation of feder-ated cloud workows using the Z notation. Various proper-ties of interest are observed in the possible deploymentssymbolically calculated by the Z/EVES theorem prover.These properties are dened using rules restricting validoptions in various categories like security, cost, dependabil-ity, etc.
