摘要

The quarter-wave plate is a crucial element of fiber-optic current sensor. The Verdet constant fluctuation which is caused by temperature decreases the stability of fiber-optic current sensor. Yet the temperature dependence of Verdet constant can be inherently compensated by means of non-perfect quarter-wave plate. Based on this method, the scheme of inherent temperature compensation to the fiber-optic current sensor is analyzed and the previous algorithm which optimizes the parameter of non-perfect quarter-wave plate is improved. Compared to the previous optimization algorithm, the system is more stable after optimization according to the simulation result. The theoretical result identifies the result of experiment. It is significant to the manufacture of quarter-wave plate in practice.
