摘要

A new model to manage the energy flow between the grid and the Electric Vehicles (EVs) has been proposed. This model will be very useful in the near future as the numbers of EVs in the market are increasing at a very rapid pace. EVs' charging station (CS) will be connected to some of the nodes of the power distribution network. EVs of a particular area will arrive at the CS connected to the local distribution node to charge their batteries. Apart from serving the EVs (charging), CSs will also be used to provide grid stabilization services like peak shaving, valley filling and voltage regulation. There will be a fuzzy logic controller between the charging station and the distribution node which will control the flow of energy to/from the EVs. The division of the power among the EVs' batteries will be achieved by using a suitably designed aggregator. Moreover, the batteries will not be charged/discharged beyond the charging/discharging rate Crate limit fixed by the EVs owners and also the batteries will not be discharged beyond the state of charge limit.
