Generation of powerful spatial coherent radiation in masers and lasers with two-dimensional distributed feedback

摘要

2D distributed feedback is an effective method of generation of high power spatially-coherent radiation from a large class of active media extended along two coordinates. An overview of theoretical and experimental studies of masers and lasers exploiting novel 2D-feedback mechanisms is presented.
