Simple backscattered power technique for measuring crosstalk of multi-core fibers

A simple technique is proposed for measuring the crosstalk of multi-core fibers using optical time-domain reflectometry (OTDR). The crosstalk of a seven multi-core fiber is successfully estimated with the proposed technique.
