摘要

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is an unavoidable phenomenon generated in any power electronic systems due to the high switching frequency and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques of power converter. In PWM inverter-fed AC motor drives, conducted and/or radiated EMI can be produced. This restricts power electronic drive's evolution. In this paper, only conducted EMI is focused owing to its dominant effects. This type of EMI will be analyzed in the considered system, then, to minimize or overcome EMI problems, some EMI reduction approaches will be proposed. Finally, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard has to be taken into account to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed EMI reduction techniques.
