摘要

We demonstrate a fiber laser sensing technique based on fiber Bragg grating Fabry-Perot (FBG-FP) cavity, where short pulses generated from active mode-locked erbium-doped fiber ring laser and current modulated DFB laser. This technique dose not require high reflectivity FBGs and is immune to the power fluctuation of the light source. Two short pulse sources were compared with each other on pulse width, pulse stability, pulse chirp and sensing efficiency.
