Research on XML-based Learning Resource Base System

摘要

XML possesses characteristics of good selfdescription and cross-platform, and can be used to describe a wide variety of learning resources and easily exchange data with other systems, all of which are coincided with the needs of learning resource base system to describe and manage learning resources. This paper focuses on the application of XML in learning resources base system, discusses the XML database technology, studies learning resource metadata specification and XML encoding binding, and carries out the design and implementation of XMLbased learning resource base system.
