摘要

This paper describes concurrent product design and seismic analysis for fuel handling equipment in nuclear power plants. A process model for concurrent product design and seismic analysis is proposed. Workflow management provides guidance and monitoring for the concurrent product design and seismic analysis. A case-based reasoning sysem for product development knowledge management is presented in a concurrent engineering environment. Case bases of drive system design, seismic design and finite element analysis are provided as templates for new product development. Based on the results and statistics of previous projects and tasks, a workflow management system is able to develop optimized schedules for new projects. An engineering framework system to support concurrent product design and seismic analysis is presented.
