Inserting accurate shape of cardiac action potential in Cellular Automata Model of propagation

There are some ways for modeling the propagation of cardiac action potential rather than solving Partial Differential Equations for the purpose of short time simulation. One of these approaches is using Cellular Automata in order to avoid any equation. Recent Cellular Automata models do not pay attention to match the shape of action potential to the real ones as well. In addition they use large neighborhood for eliminating flat edges in their result patterns. In this paper, we present a new model to prevent flat edges creation. We also preserve the real shape of action potential by using linear curve fitting of some well known electrophy siological models.
