The Nation's is the world's.It must be a tragedy if the arts and culture around the world are moving by the same trendline. If the product designed does not have its own cultural connotation and if the design does not base on the unique cultural cornerstone,how can it take a place in the fierce international competitions? Chinese culture history lasts for srveral thousand of years.Now,the splendid traditional culture has not disappeared with the surging wave of the modernization and globalization,on the contrary,it has been recognized and further reaffirmed.The design of Bei jing Olympic Games is just doing such a series of attempts,which have the Prominent features of native culture.Beijing Olympics was a large-scale international activities,in which the designers not only used international language,but al so demonstrate its autochthon and nationalization.In that ease,how to take the Olympic Games as an opportunity to demonstrate the Chinese nation's splendid five thousand years civilization to the world. China's design industry has a long way to go.
