A Context-aware based Approach Providing Community Services

Virtual communities have become more and more popular. Generally, they are all communication enablers between the members of communities. However, with the development of automatization, it is an inevitable trend to provide rich services for these virtual communities with regard to their changing physical environment and settings, which is called context information. In this paper, we propose a system architecture to provide context-aware based community services in heterogeneous communication environments. With regard to the realization if the system, three key issues are addressed: community context modeling and reasoning, community management mechanism, and control of trust & privacy.
