Mobile Peer-to-Peer devices are characterized by boundedrnresource sharing reliability. Since mobile hosts move freely,rnnetwork partitioning occurs frequently, and thus datarnaccessibility is relatively lower than that in conventionalrnfixed networks. Due to the asymmetry in wirelessrncommunication and the scarceness of wireless resources, thernuse of infrastructureless wireless networks as a mean of filernsharing is not always successful. This paper proposes anrnapproach for reliable file sharing based on the advantages ofrnepidemic selective dissemination through fixed and mobilernInfostations. The proposed scheme combines the strengthsrnof both autonomic gossiping and hybrid Infostation conceptrnand attempts to fill the gap between user mobility andrnreliable file sharing for mobile peer to peer users. Facing thernproblem of flooding this method successfully enables end tornend reliability by forwarding requested packets tornepidemically ‘selected’ users in the network. Examinationrnthrough simulation is performed for the offered reliabilityrnby the epidemic collaborative replication scheme, showingrnthe grade of robustness in file sharing reliability amongrnmobile peers.
