摘要

The increasing number of potentially harmful pollutants in the environment calls for fast and cost-effective toxicity evaluation instrument. In this paper, an optical biosensor based bioluminescent bacteria was designed for determination of the toxicity of water environment. Its response time and detection limit are suitable for used in field occasion. Thus, the biosensor system can be a potential portable monitoring system of aquatic environmental toxicity.
