摘要

This paper deals with the crosstalk between orthogonal microstrip lines and coupling of the external incident field on microstrip crossovers in multilayered media in 1–20 GHz frequency range. The coupling effect between two orthogonal interconnects is modeled by lumped circuit elements of the cross-region. The analysis of external field coupling is based on transmission line theory in a scattered voltage formulation uses a quasi-TEM propagation model for interconnects and the exact distribution of the external electric field within the layers.
