The focus of this paper is collision efficiency by interception. Following a literature survey,rnit will be briefly demonstrated that the collision efficiency by interception cannot be predictedrnwith the standard FLUENT program but can be predicted with the new enhancements.rnThen the good prediction of the improved CFD modeling is shown by a comparisonrnof simulated data for the inertia and interception regime with collision efficiencies fromrnliterature.
