摘要

In this work the effective molecular diffusion in homogeneousrnporous media was studied. An experimental setup wasrnconstructed to measure the effective molecular diffusionrncoefficient in packed unconsolidated sands, which allowed torntake samples of fluids at different positions and times. Thernfluid samples were analyzed by gas chromatography torndetermine fluid concentration; these data were analyzed usingrnthe Fick’s second law to calculate the molecular diffusionrncoefficient. These results were compared with those obtainedrnusing a different methodology based in pressure changesrndeveloped by Luna et al. A good agreement between bothrnmethodologies was obtained.
