摘要

A method for optimizing aperture-coupled Microstrip patch antenna is presented and applied in this paper. This method is based on genetic algorithm and in the process of genetic algorithm, circuit model of antenna is used. A modification is also done to improve this model. The method is applied for increasing bandwidth of the aperture-coupled microstrip patch antenna and good results were met. The antennas obtained by genetic algorithm were analyzed by the method of moment and the results were satisfactory.
