摘要

Due to the increasing complexity and precision requirements of compacted structural components, there has arisen a demand for highly capable and efficient production systems. Modem forming processes often feature electronically closed-loop controlled multiplaten presses that are characterized by utmost flexibility and consequently a high degree of freedom. This is naturally coupled with the necessity of extensive and complicated programming and setup procedures. For each individual green compact there has to be prepared a flow chart which is subject to many parameters. This calls for detailed knowledge of both the interrelations in pressing technology and of the capability of the machinery.
