摘要

Distortion in MIM parts made of 316L and 17-4PH materials was evaluated based on the effect of powder particle size and alloying technique. The distortion in parts produced from pre-alloyed powder was progressive with the increase of temperature. The 1.5X master alloy/carbonyl iron powder blend exhibited initial distortion followed by a transitory recovery prior to becoming progressive again with the final increase in temperature. This study focuses on this phenomenon.
