This paper will discuss how Chevron U.S.A. Inc., arnChevronTexaco Company (ChevronTexaco), is implementingrna field trial that will use research developed softwarernintegrated with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisitionrn(SCADA) on injection wells, in conjunction with satelliternimages to measure ground elevation changes, to perform realtimernreservoir management in the Lost Hills Field.rnImplementation of a new software control model to restrictrnhydrofracture growth in water injection wells is being fieldrntested.1 Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferograms (InSAR) arernbeing obtained on an approximately 60-day interval torndetermine subsidence rates and will be used as an inputrnvariable for pattern voidage calculations. Incorporating newrnand innovative technologies is helping ChevronTexacornproduce a very unique and challenging diatomite reservoir.
