摘要

The analysis of the slopes using limiting equilibrium consideration necessitates the determination of the critical slip surface which yields the minimal factor of safety. Coupling the modified simulated annealing and simplified Bishop method of computing slope stability, an effective global minimization procedure is presented to search minimal factor of safety. The algorithm can simultaneously determine minimal factor of safety and the corresponding slip surface. It may be applied to slopes of any geometry, layering, pore pressure and external load distribution. Application of the procedure to slope stability problems shows that the procedure proposed can be used to search global minimization in the slope stability analysis of the open mine, and then avoid local minimization problem.
