An Image Rejection Re-Configurable Multi-Carrier 3G Base-Station Transmitter

摘要

Recent trends in basestation wideband transmitters, point to continuing reduction of analog RF/IF processing at the expense of increased digital signal processing. An efficient hardware design takes advantage of digital algorithmic approaches, and with proper architectural partitioning, makes a multi-carrier transmitter using a single analog up-conversion practical. This paper addresses the technical challenges for UTRA (FDD) multi-carrier basestation transmitter and presents an image rejection architecture based on state-of-the-art products.
