Immune-evolutionary Strategy and If s Application

摘要

A novel global parallel algorithm, the immune-evolutionary strategy (IES), is proposed in view of the rule extraction in data-mining, which combines the immune mechanism and the evolutionary mechanism. The main idea of IES is theoretically to utilize the background knowledge and the locally characteristic information for seeking the ways and means of finding the optimal solution when dealing with difficult problems. IES is illustrated to be able to improve the stability of the population, increase the holistic performance and make the rules extracted have higher precision.
