TRANSPORT FORMAT COMBINATION SELECTION PROCEDURE IN UPLINK IN MAC UMTS : ALGORITHMS AND PERFORMANCE

摘要

In this paper, the scheduling issue in the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer in an UTMS radio network is presented and analyzed. A number of scheduling algorithms is proposed therefore. Their performance has been tested with the help of an MAC UMTS simulator. Only the uplink transmission is considered in the simulations presented below. Furthermore, the obtained results are shown and analyzed.
