Electronic and Magnetic Methods to Assess Weld Microstructure and Phase Stability

The need for extended life in many structures and assemblies requires new tools to predict life. These predictions are primarily needed for time dependent service conditions such as fatigue and high temperature creep. With the ability to correlate electronic and magnetic measurements to time dependent properties, new approaches will be suggested for non-destructive evaluation.
